Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is a delightful children’s book with a catchy rhyme pattern and fun, playful language.  Each of the bright, blocky illustrations presents a group of alphabet letters so letter awareness can be developed with the use of the story.  The use of nonsense words in poetry can be discussed within the context of this book as well.  Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is certainly one of my personal favorites!
